ShortsUP, the short movies marathon will take place in Bucharest on October 9 at Atelierul de Productie.  This is a monthly themed event in Bucharest created by the founders of Future Shorts Romania together with the founders of Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF). The event consists in two hours of high quality short films of all times, that make together a certain theme and are being projected on screen for the short movie lovers.

The main topic of this year’s festival edition is centered on the seven sins. The new ShortsUP season, 2010-2011, begins with the question: “Which are the capital sins of contemporary heroes? What misses or what is added to lust, pride, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath and envy?” Therefore, each projected movie will have one of the capital sins as its main topic.

ShortsUP starts at 20,00 hours bringing the most prominent short films in the entire world such as: "Cashback", a twenty-minute Oscar nominated film about sloth, which obtained fourteen prizes at different international festivals (see short movie below).

The price of a ticket is RON 20; tickets can be bought directly at the entrance of Atelierul de Productie, located on 160 Splaiul Unirii in Bucharest.
