Guitarist Paul Gilbert, best known as guitarist for the groups Racer X and Mr. Big, will hold a concert in Bucharest at the end of March, in Hard Rock Cafe. The guitarist, who previously performed in Romania, will be promoting his newest album, Vibrato, launched in 2012. The new album is a mix of jazz, blues, rock and prog rock. Gilbert sings on this album, as well as his more usual role, playing the guitar. The new album has been labeled as daring and original for a guitar player.

Paul Gilbert was one of the founding members of the band Mr. Big in 1988, together with Billy Sheehan, Pat Torpey and Eric Martin. His career has included collaborations with artists such as Mike Portnoy, Neal Morse and Gary Cherone, as well as a solo path which includes 12 studio albums.

The Bucharest concert will be held on March 31 starting 20:00, and tickets are priced RON 80 (standing) and RON 140 (with seating). They can be bought online on www.eventim.ro.
