Music app developed by Romanians receives EUR 0.2 mln financing from LaunchHUB
Style Jukebox, the music app that keeps users’ music in the Cloud and allows them to listen to it anywhere, on any device, received a funding of up to EUR 200,000 from LauncHUB, an investment fund that supports entrepreneurs and digital startups in South and Eastern Europe, reports local Wall-street.ro.
The music app was launched by three Romanians, namely Ionut Antiu, Radu Prescura and Gabor Gabriel, in 2012.
The investment will be used to speed up everything related to development and marketing.
In December 2013, the app had 80,000 users, and is now currently reaching over 100,000, half of them on Android. Most of the users come from the US, but also from Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Britain, the Netherlands and Bulgaria.
Some 400,000 songs are listened weekly in the Cloud, according to representatives of the app, cited by Wall-street.ro.
