03 May 2013

The fourth Padina Fest is set to bring music, sports and workshops to the Padina Plateau, Bucegi mountains in Romania, between July 31 and August 5, 2013.

The headliners this year are Bosnian band Dubioza Kolektiv and the Republic of Moldova’s Alternosfera - who will perform on August 2 and Al Jawala and Romanian band Urma (in picture) - whose gigs are scheduled for August 3, 2013. The other artists appearing on stage during this year include Ad Hoc, An Theos, Lights Out, Get Beget, Domino, Rehab Nation, Perfect Zero for Infinity and many others.

Moreover, mountain-biking enthusiasts can take part in the Bucegilor Marathon, an MTB cross country race in a spectacular setting at altitudes of up to 2,000 meters. Also, for trail running fans, the festival’s organizers are planning the second Direction Omu - a fell-running competition in which the participants have to reach the Omu Peak (the highest peak in Bucegi mountains).

Tickets for Padina Fest cost between RON 10 and RON 25, while a subscription can be purchased for RON 39. Buy tickets online here and find out more about the festival here.
