NEPI will open a new shopping center in northeastern Romania in two weeks
Real estate developer NEPI, the biggest mall owner in Romania, will open a new shopping center in Piatra-Neamt, northeastern Romania, on December 1.
Shopping City Piatra-Neamt will have a leasable area of 28,000 sqm, and a parking for 1,000 cars. NEPI's investment in this project amounts to some EUR 14 million.
The mall will host the first Carrefour hypermarket in Neamt county, which will cover 7,500 sqm. Other tenants will be fashion retailers New Yorker, Benvenuti, Orsay, C&A, CCC, Deichmann, TAKKO, Gatta, Jonny Joy, Neofashion, and Marelbo. A H&M store will also be opened in the mall, some three months after the mall’s official opening.
Visitors will be able to buy electro-IT products from stores such as Altex, Germanos, Vodafone, and Orange.
The new mall will also include a food court, an entertainment area, and a terrace, and will host the first ultra-modern multiplex cinema in the county, Cinema City, which will be inaugurated in the second half of December. The cinema will have six rooms.
NEPI is one of the biggest real estate developers in Romania. Its portfolio also includes the Mega Mall, Promenada Mall, and Vulcan Value Center in Bucharest, Shopping City Timisoara, Shopping City Sibiu, City Park Constanta, Ploiesti Shopping City, Braila Mall, Galati Shopping City, Shopping City Targu-Jiu, Severin Shopping Center, and Shopping City Deva. It also owns several office buildings in Romania, such as Floreasca Business Park, The LakeView, and Aviatorilor 8 in the capital, City Business Centre in Timisoara, and The Office in Cluj.
NEPI also wants to start the construction of a 28,000-sqm commercial center in Ramnicu Valcea next year.
