Over 75,000 new cars registered in Romania in the first seven months
About 75,300 new cars were registered in Romania in the first seven months of this year, up by a third compared to the same period of 2017.
Meanwhile, the number of used cars registered declined by 7%, to 274,200, according to official data from the licenses and registrations department – DRPCIV.
In July, the number of new cars registered increased by 34%, reaching over 15,200 units.
The top selling models were Dacia, with over 4,800 units registered, up 41% over July 2017, followed by Skoda (1,345 units, +33%), Volkswagen (1,309 units, +13%), Renault (1,095 units, +36%) and Ford (964 units, +27%).
