New companies to start up within 3 days in Romania, says PM

18 January 2012

The Romanian Government will reduce the set up time for new companies to a maximum of three days, the Prime Minister Emil Boc recently said. Also, Romania’s Government will provide additional funding for young entrepreneurs, provide state aid to companies that create jobs and set up a mediation institution for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) loans.

Further proposals sent to the government by the employers’ association in Romania, such as further reducing the number of para-fiscal taxes and the opening of an investment fund to support business projects in Romania, will be analyzed, according to the Prime Minister.

The proposals were made during the Tuesday's ( January 17 ) meeting of the National Tripartite Council for Social Dialogue.
