A new cycling route addressed to all nature and beauty lovers will be organized daily from Friday, May 20 to Sunday, May 22, through Tarnavele Plateau, in the middle of Transylvania. “We will discover four wonderful fortified churches: Valchid, Copsa Mare, Saros pe Tarnave and Biertan (UNESCO)”, according to the organizers, Cycling Romania. On their way, bikers will be able to admire the peaceful hilly area around Sighisoara, visit authentic Saxon villages, assist the ancient crafts well kept during the time.

The route will start from Prod village, in front of Cross-Country Horse Farm at 11:00 hours, and will have 45 km of asphalt and dirt road. The price per person is EUR 30 and includes bike rental, guiding, technical assistance, activities and visits, water and food supply or EUR 20 in case no rental bike is needed.
