New: Free boat rides and paddle surfing on Bucharest’s Dambovita river
Bucharest residents and tourists can try out the new boat rides on the the Dambovita river in Bucharest, as well as the surf boards on the river.
These have been made available on the the segment between Unirii bridge and the National Library, through a program organized by the Ivan Patzaichin - Mila 23 Association and ARCUB.
The Rowmania Center, which offers the boat rides, will be open until October, from Tuesday to Sunday, between 08,00 and 21,00.
According to famous Romanian rower Ivan Patzaichin, the president of the association with the same name, the recreational activities are currently free of charge, but a fee will be charged in the future.
The event aims to promote responsible tourism and ecotourism destinations in Romania through outdoor activities.
