New luxury hotel to be built in Romania’s Poiana Brasov with EUR 5.5 mln
Poiana Alba Turism, a company controlled by stakeholders of bakery producer Farinsan Giurgiu, will start in June this year the construction of the five-star Ark hotel in Poiana Mica, at the entrance in Romania’s Poiana Brasov mountain resort, following a total investment of EUR 5.5 million, according to local Ziarul Financiar. From this total, EUR 2 million comes from state funds.
“This is the company’s first investment in hotels. By 2015, we need to complete the construction of the hotel, which has five-star facilities,” said Liliana Bazilescu, the company’s administrator.
Poiana Alba Turism’s shareholders are Scalanova Holding, a company from Malta, with a package of 99.9 percent, and Serkan Icenoglu, according to data from the Trade Register, quoted by Ziarul Financiar.
