The new shopping center Promenada, developed by Raiffesien Evolution, attracted 45,000 visitors in its opening day (October 17), above the estimated average daily traffic of up to 30,000 people.

The EUR 130 million shopping center organized several events for its opening day, including concerts, video projections and fireworks.

The newly-opened mall has a total leasable area of 35,000 sqm and comprises 140 stores spread over four floors, such as Adidas, C&A, Ecco, Douglas, H&M, Lacoste, Manoush, Humanic and Stefanel.

Promenada also has 1,300 underground parking places and a 7,000 sqm terrace which will turn into a skating rink during winter time, but will also host fairs during winter holidays.

Access to the Promenada mall can be made from Calea Floreasca, as well as from Barbu Vacarescu street.
