A new multipurpose sports center should be build in Bucharest by 2014 with EUR 60 million, according to a Government draft, quoted by Mediafax newswire.

The new sports center will have 16,000 seats, and should be completed in three years, starting 2011. All the investment will be paid from the state budget, and the sports center will be built near the Lia Manoliu national stadium, in the area currently occupied by the skating rink.
