New thermal wellness center in Romania has 55,000 visitors in two weeks
The recently inaugurated thermal wellness center Therme Bucuresti had over 55,000 visitors in the first two weeks after its opening.
“We will continue to make new investments,” said Stelian Iacob, the center’s manager, cited by local Mediafax.
The Galaxy zone, an area that is dedicated to families, will be expanded in the following months. The zone will include an outdoor pool with a pool bar, a restaurant with a 500-place capacity and an additional area with 450 loungers and a new waterslide. The investment will total EUR 6 million and will be ready by June this year.
Therme Bucuresti was opened in mid-January, following an investment of EUR 50 million. It belongs to the Austrian group A-Heat. The project received a state aid of EUR 6.6 million.
