New York state Governor ponders over opening investments office in Romania
The New York state Governor takes into account the opening of an investments office in Romania, similarly to the one the New York state had opened in Turkey. David A. Paterson, the New York state governor, told Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc, who was on a visit to the US, that he was considering opening a NY investments office in Romania. The Romanian PM had initially proposed the creation of a forum for American investors in Romania, where they could receive data about the legal framework and the business opportunities in Romania.
The Romanian PM Emil Boc was in New York last week, where he attends the works of the United Nations General Assembly. The Romanian delegation also included Foreign Minister Teodor Baconschi and Environment Minister Laszlo Borbely.
