This year’s edition of the Japanese Film Festival will be organized in Bucharest between May 21 and May 26. During this festival, film lovers can see movies produced in the 1960s on a very popular theme: ninja fighters.

All movies will be screened at Cinemateca Romana in Bucharest, and will be subtitled in English, except the animation movie Cyborg 009: Legend of the Super Galaxy (screening on May 26), which will have Romanian subtitles.

The festival starts on May 21 with the Japanese movie Warrior of the Wind, at 19:00. The other movies to be screened at the Japanese Film Festival are: Ninja, a Band of Assassins (Shinobi no mono) - scheduled for May 22, and the sequel Shinobi No Mono 2: Vengeance - on May 23, Samurai Spy (Ibun Sarutobi Sasuke) - on May 24, Sanada Fuunroku - showing on May 25 and An Actor’s Revenge (Yukinojo Henge) - on May 26.

Between May 21 and May 25, the movies will be screened from 19:00. On the last day of the festival (May 26) film goers can see two movies, at 15:00 and at 18:00.
