NN Life Insurance, the biggest life insurance company on the local market, has appointed Spaniard Juan Canellas Balanza as its new Chief Sales Officer starting April.

The new Chief Sales Officer has wide experience in designing and implementing sales operations strategies and leading sales teams both within NN Group and other leading companies across Europe. He also has valuable expertise in digitalizing sales processes, a key pillar of NN Life Insurance’s strategy in Romania for the following years.

Before joining the leadership team and board of NN Life Insurance, Juan Canellas Balanza was Chief Sales Officer of Nationale Nederlanden Poland in the past three years. With more than 23 years of professional experience, he joined NN Group in 2000, holding multiple management positions within NN’s operations in Spain and the Netherlands.

Juan Canellas Balanza has a Marketing and Commercial Management Degree form ESIC Business School in Madrid and an Executive MBA from Instituto de Empresa, also in Madrid.
