Romanian electricity producer Nuclearelectrica has started on Wednesday, August 27 the competitive selection procedure of a private investor for the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant Units 3 and 4 project.

The first stage of the selection procedure consists in the qualification of investors interested in the project. “After fulfilling the requirements for qualification, investors will have access to detailed information about the project,” reads a statement of Nuclearelectrica.

Next, investors can submit a letter of intent that will be evaluated by the company.

The Romanian state is the majority shareholder of Nuclearelectrica. The company is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the symbol SNN.
