Omer Tetik starts Credit Europe Bank Romania president mandate
The Romanian Central Bank (BNR) has approved Omer Tetik's naming as the president and head of the administration council for Credit Europe Bank. Tetik (in picture) aims to relaunch the bank's lending activity this year, while increasing operational efficiency, he said. Omer Tetik has been working with Credit Europe Bank in Romania for the lats ten years. Over the time, he has led the Treasury, Financial Institutions, Retail Banking and Cards departments. Tetik replaces Murat Sabaz, who will stay in the bank’s board. Credit Europe Romania Bank is majority owned by Holland-based Credit Europe Bank NV, which is controlled by Turkish group Fiba.
