Three of four Romanians believe they have a good or very good health, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS).

However, one in five Romanians smoke every day and over 625,000 people drink alcohol on a daily basis. Moreover, one in five respondents drink alcohol at least once a week, according to a survey.

Only one in ten respondents do sport frequently.

More than half of Romanians over 15-year old have drunk alcohol in the last 12 months while only 19.2% of respondents have never drunk alcohol. Most alcohol consumers are men aged 45-64.
