Retail center Coresi Shopping Resort in Brasov, which opened at the end of March, welcomed more than 1 million visitors in the first month of operation.

Some 230,000 visited the mall on the first weekend after the opening. The estimated traffic is of 8 million people a year.

French group Immochan developed the mall with EUR 60 million. The retail center is 96% leased, hosting 110 stores. A third of these are local brands.

The owners estimate revenues from rents at about EUR 6 million a year.

Immochan also opened at the end of last year a retail center in the Drumul Taberei Bucharest neighborhood.
