The Bucharest City Hall invested some EUR 230,000 (about RON 1 million) in placing touch screen infokiosks in the capital city, but most of them are not yet functional, according to Digi24.ro. The initial project provided the installation of 100 such infokiosks to guide tourists, but only 33 were installed due to lack of funds. Of these, only 14 are currently functional, the rest being vandalized or covered with posters.

City Hall says that in a maximum of two months, all will be functional, according to Digi24.ro.

These devices should offer information about the Romanian capital, as well as allow Bucharest inhabitants to pay their local taxes and penalties.
