Opera and ballet shows to be screened at Grand Cinema Digiplex in Bucharest
A one off series of operas and ballets from the Royal Opera will be screened in high definition (HD), in Baneasa Shopping City’s Grand Cinema Digiplex in Bucharest. ‘Romeo and Juliet’ will be the first ballet show broadcast live from the Royal Opera House in London on March 22, 20:00. Some screenings will be live, others pre-recorded.
The list of shows will be completed by ‘Traviata’, a three act opera, composed by Giuseppe Verdi, which will be on screen on March 29. On April 5, the ‘Giselle’ ballet will be screened in 3D at Grand Cinema Digiplex.
Tickets cost RON 100 - for live broadcasting, and RON 70 - for recorded shows.
