Orange Romania joins prepaid Internet segment with new offer

Telecom operator Orange will launch a prepaid card for Internet access on Tuesday, August 17, with prices starting EUR 5, the company has announced. The announcement comes soon after its competitors, Vodafone and Comoste, had already launched such services. The EUR 5 fee for Orange Internet PrePay includes 500 MB of traffic, while the EUR 10, 15 and 20 offer 1.5, 3 and 5 GB of traffic respectively for periods between 15 and 30 days. 3G+ Orange services are available in 199 cities across Romania, at speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps, while the 3G service is available in several thousands of localities in Romania. The operator has reached 10.5 million customers in Romania, a year-on-year growth of 1 percent.
