Telecom company Orange Romania saw its revenues dropping by 2 percent, to EUR 241 million in the third quarter of this year, according to France Telecom, its mother company. The company's revenues quarter-on-quarter growth was up by 3 percent.

Orange Romania had 10.1 million customers at the end of September this year, 1 percent up on the previous quarter. The company reported 75,000 users for its HD voice services.

Orange Romania posted revenues of EUR 973 million last year, down 7.8 percent on 2009. The company had 10.5 million customers at the end of 2010.

The France Telecom-Orange Group had a total of 221 million customers at the end of September, up 6.3 percent year on year on a comparable basis. Consolidated revenues for the first nine months of the year were EUR 33.8 billion, stable compared to a year earlier (+0.1 percent on a comparable basis and excluding regulatory measures).
