Over 170 illegal foreigners found working in Romania’s capital

Over 170 illegal foreigners were found this year in Romania’s capital by police officers of the Bucharest Immigration Directorate, reports local Mediafax.

‘During the activities to prevent and combat the illegal stay of foreigners, police officers from the General Inspectorate for Immigration - Bucharest Immigration Directorate have detected, since the beginning of this year, 174 illegal foreigners in the capital city,” reads a statement of the institution.

The last two illegal foreigners, namely two Turks, were detected on Monday this week.

The General Inspectorate for Immigration announces that it will continue the actions to combat illegal staying. It did not give details on the nationality of the foreigners who work illegally in Romania.
