Over 400 kg of expired minced meat found in a supermarket in Bucharest
Police officers and inspectors of the National Authority for Consumer Protection ANPC discovered over 400 kg of expired minced meat in a supermarket in Bucharest, according to police sources, quoted by Mediafax newswire.
The investigators from the Fraud Investigation Directorate within the Romanian Police and ANPC checked the supermarket after previously having the information that a large quantity of expired meat was in the store. Other Romanian media say the meat was found in a warehouse, and had not yet hit the shelves of the stores.
The investigators also checked other markets in Bucharest.
