Over 50 events during the Cultural Institutes Night in Bucharest this week-end

Over 50 events in more than 14 hours will be held in Bucharest, during the fifth edition of the Cultural Institutes Night, scheduled for June 24.

At the British Council, between 12:00 and 22:30 hours, visitors will be able to purchase library subscriptions at half price, to pose  as British stars and have their pictures taken in the courtyard of the institution, to listen to Elizabethan music, play games and to participate in a quiz about the British culture. After 22:30, a session of contemporary British music will start, with indie, grime, dubstep, folk, soul, electro music, and from 23:30 hours, visitors can watch British documentaries.

The Czech Center preparesan  interactive audiovisual experience with three "sound chefs" and Sambata Sonora musical project, Czech films and an international selection of social ads.

Events organized by the Hungarian Cultural Centre and the Polish Institute will include opera and jazz concerts, digital films, fashion collections, and after 1:00 hours, visitors will be able to dance in a silent disco with two DJs.

The Cervantes Institute prepares movie screenings, while at the Romanian Cultural Institute visitors will find a photo exhibition, a book exhibition, and will be able to dance on the rhythms of an electro-avant-garde concert.

The French Institute invites its audience to a night of "pleasure of words", and the Italian Cultural Institute "Vito Grasso" offers concerts, theatre and film screenings.

For the Cultural Institutes Night  60 bicycles will be provided, that can be rented from a specially arranged point on the Arthur Verona St. Those interested are asked to register in advance at office@austriacult-bucuresti.ro by sending their name and their personal identification number (CNP).
