Over 60,000 Romanians awaited in Bulgarian resorts on Easter
As many as 60,000 Romanian tourists are expected to spend the Easter holiday in neighboring Bulgaria, thus avoiding the local resorts. Romanians will most likely make 60 percent of the 100,000 tourists awaited in Bulgaria next week-end, when the Orthodox Church celebrates Easter. The remainder would be Greek and Cypriots, according to Bulgarian media.
Foreigners usually spend three to six days on the Bulgarian seaside, which is known for having attracted Romanians on major spring breaks, like Easter and May 1, as well as during summer, due to the all inclusive offers.
