(P) Join Rotary Club București Levant's Charity Art Auction organized in support of the educational project ”Food safety and hygiene”
With the occasion of this charity reception, Rotary Club București Levant aims to bring together Rotarians, the expat and the business communities in Bucharest. On April 27th, starting 18:30, the members of Rotary Levant will welcome friends, partners and supporters of the organization at Magazinul Muzica (upstairs), 41-43 Calea Victoriei, for an evening of quality networking filled with information about the Club's community work, as well as good food, divine sweets, and delicious wine.
A silent auction for 8 paintings donated by sponsors and partners will be organized during the reception. The funds raised will go to the educational project ”Food safety and hygiene” and to other causes supported by Rotary Levant. During the launching event, the educational materials realized through the Club's own efforts as support for the information campaign will be presented. These materials are destined to be disseminated in a pilot project benefiting more than 1000 students in several schools in Bucharest.
Food safety is an essential right of humans. Unfortunately, often people do not know how to keep their food in a good condition. When we have access to clean food, we live a healthier and safer life. Thus, the project ”Food safety and hygiene” aims to inform, to educate and to raise awareness among the younger generation - and beyond - over the rules to be respected when handling food in order to assure both personal and public health.
Rotary Levant's partners are Senia Music by offering the event's location at Magazinul Muzica, City Compass Media and Romania-Insider.com for their media support, the confectionery laboratory Divine Sweets and Domeniile Mennini for their special wine. Special thanks to the members of Rotaract Club București Levant, sponsored by Rotary Levant, who helped with the organization of this reception.
