If you're a pancakes fan, tell your taste buds to prepare for the the Pancakes Festival which will take place in Moneasa between July 31st and August 1st. The organizers of the event plan to prepare as many as 20,000 pancakes, which will be a record-breaking number compared to the previous editions of the festival.

This is one of the biggest events in the area, which is expected to attract tourists in the Arad county and in the neighboring counties. Pancakes will not be the only stars at the festival. Artistic programs and competitions will also be featured.

Moneasa is a locality in Arad county, located in the Codru Moma mountains. The main touristic place is the Moneasa health resort.

What to see in the area: Valea Morii and Liliecilor caves (the latter the home to bats), Boroaia cascade, the water lilies thermal lake.
