Pendulum and Skunk Anansie confirmed for B'estfest festival in Bucharest; new Pipera location this year

The fourth edition of the B'Estfest music festival in Romania will take place between July 1 and 3 this year. The organizers have confirmed Pendulum and Skunk Anansie among the festival's headliners this year. Tickets for the event will be on sale soon, when new artists in the line-up will also be announced, according to eMagic, the festival organizers.

The music festival will be organized in a new location, north of Bucharest, 10 minutes away from the Free Press Square, in the Pipera – Tunari area, where B'Estfest camp will be set up. A 10-hectare area will host the camp, which will also include an area for tents.

Australian band Pendulum will perform in Bucharest for the first time. Pendulum is an Australian-British drum and bass/electronic rock band founded in 2002 in Perth by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, and Paul Harding. The band will perform on July 3 in Bucharest, part of their European tour. Listen to one of their songs below.

Skunk Anansie has also been confirmed in the line-up, after the band itself made the announcement on its website the previous days. Skunk Anasie is a British rock band made of leading singer Skin (born Deborah Dyer), Cass (born Richard Keith Lewis), Ace (Martin Ivor Kent) and and Mark Richardson. The band took a break from 2001 to 2009, when the members got back together. One of their most recent singles is “Over the Love” (listen to it below), part of the album Wonderluster, released in September 2010.
