Over 220,000 people find jobs via Romania's National Employment Program
About 220,100 people found jobs through Romania’s National Employment Program in the first seven months of the year, namely 63% of those who are part of the program.
Over 42,000 of these are people under 25, 52,000 are between 25 and 35, over 56,000 are between 35 and 45, and almost 70,000 are over 45. Most of the people who found jobs through the program are from urban areas, namely over 121,000.
The number of job vacancies in Romania reached 47,400 in the second quarter of the year, up 11,100 year-on-year. The job vacancy rate amounted to 1.06% in this period, slightly up compared to the previous quarter.
