Petrochem Technologies to develop tourist resort in Dor Marunt, Romania, with EUR 65 mln

Petrochem Technologies, a company from Constanta, Romania, plans to develop a racetrack, a shopping center and three hotels in the village of Dor Marunt in Calarasi county, in partnership with Romsilva and Romania's Minstry of Environment. The total investment amounts to EUR 65 million.

The racetrack will have around 20,000 seats, and the resort will also include a jumping track for competitions, and training and riding areas. Besides the racetrack, the tourism project will include a commercial center, three hotels, two office buildings, and a 30-km cycling route around the Dor Marunt village.

The company owns 70 hectares of land outside the city and approximately 2,600 sqm of land in Dor Marunt, where the offices and the technical spaces will be built in the first phase of the project.
