Placebo comes to Romania for anniversary concert this summer
Famous English alternative rock band Placebo has added Romania to its 20 years of Placebo World Tour. The band will play at Arenele Romane in Bucharest on June 28.
Placebo previously played in Romania in 2006, 2009, and 2012.
During this year’s concert in Bucharest, the band’s fans will have the chance to listen to hits such as Pure Morning, The Bitter End, Every Me And Every You, and Teenage Angst.
Placebo marked the 20-year anniversary with the release of a retrospective album called A Place For Us To Dream – 20 Years Of Placebo, which includes the new single Jesus’ Son.
Placebo is an alternative rock band from London, formed by singer-guitarist Brian Molko and guitarist-bassist Stefan Olsdal. The band’s self-titled debut album was released in 1996, peaking at number 5 in the UK Albums Chart. The album included several successful singles, including Nancy Boy. Since then, every song the band has released, from Special K to Battle for the Sun, has consolidated its top position among the most influential contemporary bands.

Tickets for the gig in Romania cost RON 190 and can be purchased online from Eventim.ro. They can also be found in Orange, Vodafone and Germanos stores, Carrefour hypermarkets, OMV gas stations, and Humanitas and Carturesti bookshops.
In the day of the concert, tickets will cost RON 220.
