Policolor invests EUR 5.4 mln in new factory in Bucharest
Policolor, one of the biggest paint producers in Romania, will build a new factory on a 2.5-hectare land plot in Western Bucharest.
The new unit will produce paint, plasters, varnishes and auxiliary products. The company’s investment in the new factory amounts to EUR 5.4 million.
The new factory will also include new research labs and will allow Policolor to diversify its product and brand portfolio, according to David Jordan, CEO of the Policolor-Orgachim group. It will be ready to start production by April 2019.
The new factory will also include a 5,000-sqm warehouse.
Policolor also has a factory in Eastern Bucharest, on the Theodor Pallady boulevard. The company is controlled by private equity fund RC2.
