Polish fashion retailer to open first shop in Bucharest
Polish fashion retailer Adesso, which holds the Textil Market (TM) store network and is known for its discount policy, wants to open a 400-sqm shop in the Pipera Plaza shopping center in Bucharest by the end of the year.
It is now in talks with the developer InterCora, which owns the mall, reports local Economica.net.
The company, which is already active in countries such as Slovakia or the Czech Republic, plans to open 50 new shops, half of them in Poland, and the rest in Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The TMX network had 317 stores in March. The space for a TMX shop needs to have between 160 and 240 sqm and the store has to be located in an area with less than 50,000 inhabitants.
Another Polish retailer answer.com recently entered Romania’s online fashion market.
