Polish film 'Zero' awarded at Anonimul Independent Film Festival, Romanian film comes third
Polish film 'Zero', directed by Pawel Borowski, has won the Anonimul Independent Film festival trophy, during a premiere evening which took place on August 14 in Sfantu Gheorghe, the Danube Delta. Zero is the story of 24 hours in the lives of a couple of characters who life stories intersect. (trailer below)
The movie got 101 votes out of a total of 349 casted votes. Last year's main award went to Romanian movie 'Cealalta Irina' (The other Irina) by Andrei Gruzniczki.
The Romanian movie which was selected in the competition, 'Caravana Cinematografica' (Cinema Caravan), came out third.
The main award in the festival consists in USD 3,000, while the other awards, USD 1,000 each.
The Anonimul Film Festival started out on August 9 and ends on Sunday, August 15.
