Portuguese Film Days event kicks off in April with black and white movies

The fourth edition of the Portuguese Film Days will be held in Bucharest at the Romanian Cultural Institute-ICR (38 Aleea Alexandru) between April 19 and 21. The event is organized by the Embassy of Portugal in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute, with the support of Instituto Camões. This year's edition will feature black and white movies.

Three movies will be screened during the event. The film “Cançao de Lisboa”, the first Portuguese film with sound, and also the first comedy directed by Cottinelli Telmo will be screened on April 19, starting 18,30 hours. “Ala-Arriba”, the first Portuguese film awarded abroad, directed by Leitao de Barros will be screened on April 20 starting 18,00 hours while “Belarmino”,  directed by Fernando Lopes will be screened on April 21 at the same hour.

All movies will have Romanian subtitles. The access to the screenings is free, depending on seating availability.
