Prague recital for Romanian pianist Horia Mihail

25 November 2011

Romanian pianist Horia Mihail (in picture) will hold a piano recital in Prague on November 29, 2011, while December 2 sees a performance of Heart’s story (Povestea inimii), a theatre/dance/pantomime production, directed by Romanian Dana Cavaleru and Richard Bovnoczki, according to the Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague, the events' organizer. Both events will be organized around the National Day of Romania, held on December 1.

Celebrated pianist Horia Mihail will perform piano works by Enescu, Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert and Liszt. Heart’s story draws attention to contemporary reality, in which man is hunted and overwhelmed by the noise of modern life to the point where he can no longer hear the call of his heart.

The piano recital will take place at B. Martinu Hall, while Heart's Story will show at Prague Municipal Library's theatre hall.
