Romania’s newly elected President Klaus Iohannis said that the new National Liberal Party PNL wants to take the power in Romania and this will happen in 2015 or no later than 2016, when parliamentary elections will be held. He added that PNL doesn’t want an embellishment of a PSD government “just for the eyes of others”.

“There are some who ask why we don’t demand immediate government change. What we want is a change of power in Romania. We want to take over the power, we, the National Liberal Party. There are no longer two parties, just one – the new PNL – that wants to take over the power,” said Iohannis, cited by local Mediafax.
