New mall opens in Romania this week
Prime Kapital, a real estate developer focused on the Central and Eastern European (CEE) market, will open on August 20 a new mall in Romania.
The project, called Dambovita Mall, is the first modern shopping center in Targoviste, a city north of Bucharest.
The mall has a total built area of over 70,000 sqm and includes a Carrefour hypermarket, also the first such unit in the city. It is located on a land plot close to the military base where communist dictators Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu were executed on December 25, 1989.
The mall’s parking lot will also host a free drive-in cinema, a concept that Prime Kapital has also implemented at five of its other projects in Romania.
