Films from the top international festivals as Berlin, Cannes Venice and Locarno, will be screened at the Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival 2012 (BIEFF) in collaboration with Quinzaine des Réalisateurs (from the Cannes Festival). The movies will be showing between November 20-25 at Cinema Scala and Cinema Elvira Popescu.

The third edition of BIEFF is bringing an impressive selection of short films to Bucharest, including 'The Curse,' named best short film at the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs 2012, 'Drawn From Memory' directed by Marcin Bortkiewcz , 'KonigBerg,' a tragic comedy directed by Roy Andersson, and 'The Living Dead' by Gus van Sant.

The festival will be presented by Christophe Leparc, managing director of the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, also member of the BIEFF jury, and the special guest of the event will be the British filmmaker Peter Greenway, who leads the educational mission of BIEFF and will be, starting with this year, the  Honorary President.
