Retailer Profi leased a 15,000 sqm warehouse within Immofinanz' LogCenter in Ploiesti, according to DTZ Echinox, which brokered the deal. Profi thus fully leased the first phase of the Ploiesti warehouse project, and put its second such warehouse on the map in Romania, after a similar facility, on some 12,000 sqm, in Cluj.

The recent addition is aimed at improving the supply chain and offering a strategic position in the area. Profi currently runs 150 stores in Romania and has been aggressively expanding throughout the country in the last two years.

LogCenter is a project of Immofinanz group, which owns 89 properties in Romania, estimated at some EUR 1 billion. The full project covers 38 hectares, of which the first phase, 15,000 sqm, was already developed. Romania ranks third within Immofinanz group's portfolio, with a share of 9.7 percent.
