Raiffeisen Bank names two Romanians as members of the bank's directorship

Raiffeisen Bank has nominated a Chief Risk Officer, Mircea Busuioceanu (in picture), and a Chief Financial Officer, Bogdan Popa, as members of the bank’s directorship, thus completing the seven-member board, according to the bank.

Raiffeisen Bank's leadership team currently has five members: Steven van Groningen - President & CEO, James Stewart - Vice President Treasury and Capital Markets Division, Cristian Sporis - Corporations Division Vice President, Vladimir Kalinov - Vice President Retail Division and Carl Rossey - Vice President Operations and IT.

The new posts will become effective after authorization from the National Bank of Romania (BNR).

Raiffesisen Bank, part of the Austrian Raiffeisen group , has been operating on the Romanian market since 2002. The company is currently present in 15 Romanian cities. In mid-2012, Raiffeisen Bank network counted 539 units (down from 542 in June 2011), a network of over 1,100 ATMs and approximately 10,500 EPOSs.
