The National Meteorology Administration issued yellow and orange codes for bad weather in several counties in northern, western and south-western Romania this weekend.

Meteorologists forecasted rain and strong winds for several counties in Romania, between November 21, 02:00, and November 22, 12:00. The alert targets Suceava, Neamt, Hunedoara, Mures, Bistrita Nasaud, Cluj, Salaj, Satu Mare, Bihor, Arad, Alba, Hunedoara, Timis, Caras-Severin, Gorj, and Mehedinti counties. Moreover, snow is expected in Apuseni Mountains, the north part of the Eastern Carpathians, and at heights of over 1,800 meters.

Between November 21, 09:00, and November 22, 09:00, Maramures county and parts of Bistrita Nasaud, Bihor, Cluj, and Salaj counties are under a code orange for rain. The meteorologists expect the quantities of water to exceed 50 liters per sqm in this period.
