Rammstein to share stage with Bullet For My Valentine at Rock the City festival in Bucharest
Rock bands Rammstein (in picture), Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium, Enslaved and Spineshank are confirmed for this year’s Rock the City music festival in Bucharest, according to the organizers. The two-day event will take place at Romexpo, on July 27 and July 28.
Rammstein are an industrial metal band formed in 1994 in Germany. The line-up is Till Lindemann - singer, Christoph "Doom" Schneider - drums, Richard Z. Kruspe - guitar, Paul Landers - guitar, Oliver Riedel - bass guitar and Christian "Flake" Lorenz - keyboards. The band previously performed in Romania in 2010. Bullet For My Valentine are a Welsh heavy metal band composed of Matthew “Matt” Tuck – vocals, guitars, Michael “Padge” Paget – guitars, Michael “Moose” Thomas – drums and Jason “Jay” James - bass. The band’s debut album The Poison released in 2006 sold over one million copies worldwide. Their latest album Temper Trap was released this year. More about the band here.
Trivium are another heavy metal act, this time from the US, formed in 2000. The band have released five studio albums, eleven singles, and twelve music videos. Their first album Ember to Inferno was released three years later, followed in 2005 by Ascendancy. Trivium’s latest album was released on August 9, 2011. Find out more about Trivium here.
Enslaved are a progressive black metal metal band from Norway. The band formed in 1991 and are currently Ivar Bjørnson, Grutle Kjellson, Ice Dale, Herbrand Larsen and Cato Bekkevold. Their latest album RIITIIR was released last year. The band’s official website here.
Spineshank are an American Grammy-nominated nu-metal band, who have sold over 540,000 records, and released 4 studio albums. The album Anger Denial Acceptance was released in 2012. More about the band here.
