Rare appearance in Romanian forests: Lynx filmed in Semenic Natural Park
The monitoring cameras installed in the forests of the Semenic Natural Park in Romania have caught some rare images the other days.
A lynx appears in the video, these images being very rare in Romania, as the animal is rather “discreet,” according to the forest rangers.
People rarely see a lynx in the Romanian forests. These animals usually hunt at night, and don’t leave too many traces.
About 1,300 lynxes are estimated to live in Romania’s forests.
