Tropical reefs have come to Herastrau Park, with the Reef Aquarium exhibition. Hosted in two pavilions, the exhibition boasts aquariums with over 50,000 liters of water and hundreds of different kinds of fish. Visitors can see some of the inhabitants of the world's coral reefs, including sharks, rays, brightly colored tropical fish, as well as sea horses, anemones, corals and marine crustaceans. There will also be freshwater aquariums, featuring Amazonian species, including catfish and piranhas.

Entry costs RON 27 for adults and RON 23 for children/students/pensioners, while organized groups pay RON 20 per person. The exhibition is open daily from 09:00 until 21:00.
