Regiotrans introduces trains to Divertiland amusement park in Romania this year
Visitors from Bucharest, Ploiesti, Brasov and Craiova will be able to arrive by train at the Divertiland amusement park located in western Bucharest, in the Militari area.
The trains operated by private transport operator Regiostrans on the route Brasov-Bucharest-Craiova and return, will make daily stops in the station Parc Divertisment Chiajna during May-October.
In about 20 minutes, visitors from Bucharest can reach Divertiland by train, where they will find a total of 22 slides, a wave pool, and a sand beach.
The cost of a class II train ticket is RON 4 (under EUR 1), and students and pensioners have a 50 percent discount.
The Bucharest North-Chiajna Parc Divertisment and return route will be made by regional trains 14092 and 14093. The trains will go from Bucharest to Divertiland at 09:01, and on the way back, they will leave Chiajna Parc Divertisment station at 20:42.
Visitors from Brasov will arrive to Divertiland in 3 hours and 20 minutes by train, while those from Craiova will cover the distance of 195 kilometers to the amusement park in 3 hours.
A class II train ticket for a trip from Brasov or Craiova to Divertiland will cost RON 26.5 (some EUR 6), but children, students and pensioners will benefit from a reduction.
Train tickets will be available for purchase at Regiotrans sale points and at Divertliand.
The Chiajna Parc Divertisment station was built following an investment of some EUR 300,000 made by Divertiland, and was opened in 2013.
