Hakim Boutehra will take over as general manager of the Renault Commercial Roumanie starting August 1, this year.

He will replace the Czech Jan Ptacek, who becomes executive deputy president for sales and marketing within the Russian car producer Avtovaz.

Boutehra is 39, was born in Algeria and has an experience of over 15 years in trade. Between 2008 and 2010, he was trade director within Renault Algeria. In January 2013, he was appointed director for the Middle East region within the French group.

Renault Commercial Roumanie sells the Dacia, Renault, and Nissan brands on the local market. Last year, the company’s sales reached over EUR 500 million, up 20% compared to 2014.
